Basement Construction
Well, if you've ever wondered what kind of exciting night-life we have...here you go. After the kids are in bed, Bill and I have been spending several hours each night constructing our home theater and Irish pub. Some day you'll be able to come over, watch the Matrix and drink a Guinness!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We are hosting dinner tomorrow for Bill's parents, his brother and family, and his uncle. Wish me luck on the turkey, etc...this will be my first! The kids are anxious to see everyone...in fact, Madison has been helping me organize and plan for days. She's a great little helper. I hope you all have a safe and fun holiday with your family and friends.

Girls Day Out
On Saturday, a group of neighbors and friends met in Maple Grove to do "Let's Dish". We had a great time and decided to sign up again in January! It was so great because I got to make things I normally wouldn't make (like Shrimp Scampi Linguini that Bill loved)and I didn't have to set foot in the grocery store. Best of all...no mess to clean up! We had lunch before and a few drinks after...it was a great "girls day out"!

Our Little Scouts
Well, we've entered the scouting world this year. It's been keeping all of us pretty busy. Bill helps out with Will's Tiger Scout troop a couple times a month and I've been assisting with Madison's Brownie troop monthly. This picture was taken on Tuesday night after their meetings. The boys are working hard on their Pinewood Derby car (I think that some of Bill's mechanical tendencies are rubbing off on Will!) and Madison is looking forward to selling (and eating) cookies.
Hi Everyone!
Hi everyone! I bet you can't believe I'm actually starting a blog! Well, I got this great idea from my sister, Jill. I love reading her blog to get a peek into her life and see pictures of her family. And now since both of my sisters live in Seattle and many of our close friends live far away, I thought this might be a great way for me to document part of our lives and stay in touch with everyone a little better.
