The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.
This is what Will and Madison left out on Christmas Eve: 3 sugar cookies and milk for Santa, a piece of string cheese for Santa Mouse (you gotta read the book...), and a bag of carrots for the reindeer. When asked why they needed to leave the whole bag of carrots, they responded "Because there are eight reindeer...geez..."
