Go Wildcats!!

Last night was a huge occasion for my 9 year old daughter. For those of you who do not live in close proximity of a girl age 9-12, you may not be aware of the phenomenon known as High School Musical.

Maddie and our neighbor Clare, have been planning a sleep-over for several weeks now, in celebration of High School Musical 2 which aired on Disney Channel last night. Throughout the day, we watched the official countdown. Literally. Seriously, there was really a countdown on the right upper corner of the screen. All day.

Prior to the 7 pm premiere, I've never witnessed a kid shower, clean a room, pack a bag, and eat as fast as she did. Hopefully the inhaled orange sesame chicken didn't give her indigestion too badly.

So, with the girls over at Culhane's house for the big event. Brendan and Will had a sleep over at our house. They watched the song, dance and hype of HSM2 for awhile before eventually opting for the XBox and a good game of Halo.

Hmmmph... boys...

How was it? Sierra is dying to know! Don't have the same airtimes here in Brazil!! In an effort to make her feel better, I've been reminding her that sequals are never as good as the first...she's not buying it though.
